I bought this for my 4-year-old because she absolutely LOVES stacking things. The WHOLE FAMILY has played with these and have had a blast building. :) I would definitely recommend buying these if you're looking for shapes that you can build different structures from than cubed blocks. In fact, we are going to buy another set soon so we have more pieces to build with.

There are some small parts that may be easily withheld until the child is old enough to play with. The set could include more pieces. Overall satisfied.

I purchased two sets for my one year old grandson. I'm amazed at how quickly he has learned to stack them, even knowing that the white connectors go in the yellow pieces. I'm glad to have one set at his house and one set at my house.

So simple but can do so much, not just the grand kids play with them
The blocks are fantastic!! I love playing with them myself! I will purchase more sets for gifts and one to add to my current set for my 15 month old granddaughter. The only concern are the small white pieces may be a choking hazard so either remove them or monitor play with babes that might put them in their mouth. That being said, I highly recommend!
